We currently have no openings but are always looking for part-time/resource pet sitters.
What we look for in a team member:
Reliable, punctual & trustworthy and have previous professional pet sitting experience.
Be self-motivated and take initiative.
Willingness and desire to learn.
Willing to work as a team.
Have a smart phone with GPS.
A good understanding of dog, cat & horse body language. We will provide training & educational opportunities but you need a foundation.
A realistic expectation of the job. In addition to the cuddles and love, you will work in all types of weather, scoop poop, clean up vomit & handle boisterous or timid dogs.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our team and be a part of our vision to improve the lives of cats & dogs and their owners by helping them understand each other better and by providing services that enhance the lives of both the pet and human clients.
You’re a perfect fit if you:
Have experience working with cats, a variety of dog sizes, breeds & personalities, have a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about serving both a team and a dog-loving community.
Are able to “read the room” when working with animals and their humans and able to reply with empathy and compassion.
Are flexible working with a small team and comfortable offering ideas and receiving feedback.
Have communication and Grammar skills that are A+ for writing, typing, and messaging.
Are prompt, punctual and reliable.
Have reliable transportation, insurance and a good driving record.
Can pass a background check and drug screen.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
This job is probably not for you if...
You get easily distracted and need to be closely managed on a daily basis.
You do not have good time management skills or ability to be organized.
You don’t enjoy trying new things in technology or trying new tactics to improve efficiency.
You do not have attention to detail or a high level of follow through.
You do not like dogs or cats or communicating with people!
