Puppy Socialization Class
For puppies between 8 weeks & 16 weeks of age.

*Puppies must complete the class prior to 16 weeks of age. (Some exceptions are made for smaller puppies).
This is a four-week rotating puppy class that focuses on properly socializing your puppy. The vast majority of adult dog behavior is formed by 20 weeks of age. Don’t wait!
This class will help you understand how to read your puppy’s body language, interpret their behaviors, shape the responses that you want to instill and identify red flags of potential issues down the road. Proper socialization is not just about exposure. It’s about the quality of the exposure for the INDIVIDUAL puppy. Each week, your puppy will have the opportunity to meet new puppies, new people, safe adult dogs & experience new objects/experiences while having fun in a safe, controlled environment.
*These classes are essential for proper puppy behavioral development. The primary socialization period is a period of time you will never get back. Puppies that do not have these types of experiences may fail to develop coping mechanisms and grow into dogs that are difficult or unable to adapt to new situations, unfamiliar people and/or unfamilar animals.
Each week we will also focus on typical puppy behaviors that are common with puppies. There will be ample time for off-leash puppy play. Registration requires four consecutive weeks of attendance. Puppies that complete all four weeks of Puppy Socialization class are eligible for discounted in-home training until they are 6 months of age.
Puppy Preschool Class
For puppies between 12 weeks & 20 weeks of age.

This is a four-week puppy class that focuses on foundation behaviors along with socialization.
Behaviors covered are recall (come), sit, lie down and leash skills. Starting these skills early will be crucial to getting through the challenging adolescent phase from 6 months to 18 months.
This class will help you understand how to read your puppy’s body language, interpret their behaviors, shape the responses that you want to instill and identify red flags of potential issues down the road. There will be time for off-leash puppy play. Vaccine requirements:
Puppies may start either Puppy Class:
7 days after having their first DHPP vaccine administered by a Veterinarian
Bordetella vaccine
Deworming
A DHPP booster is required every three weeks.
Puppies should be healthy and alert, free from diarrhea, vomiting, eye or nasal discharge or cough.

Beginner Dog Training Class
For dogs over the age of 6 months

This 4 week class focuses on foundation behaviors to prevent or address common problem behaviors such as jumping, greeting people appropriately, leash walking & self control behaviors.
This class will also help you understand how to read your dog’s body language, interpret their behaviors & shape the responses that you want to instill.
**This class is NOT appropriate for dogs who are reactive on leash to dogs or people. In-home assessment & training/behavior modification are available for these types of situations.
Vaccine requirements:
Dogs must be current on:
Current on DHPP & Rabies vaccine administered by a Veterinarian
